Queen of Vase began the same way a lot of modern small businesses did - during Covid. With no clear idea of what the next step would be, I started collecting vintage vases simply because I was fascinated by the story behind them. It didn’t take long before I started throwing stems in.
As I spent more time designing, I began working in a local flower shop to learn the craft - and quickly fell in love with it.
The idea behind Queen of Vase has always been to pair vintage and unique vases with flowers that feel sculptural, playful, and a little unexpected. What started as a creative outlet has grown into a floral studio designing arrangements for weddings, events, homes, and businesses across San Diego.
Flowers deserve a dramatic entrance. Which is why we deliver them in a hearse.
